Maintaining rigorous physical fitness standards, including specified height and chest measurements, and successfully completing running/walking assessments.
• Junior Scale Stenographer: Providing essential secretarial and administrative support, accurately transcribing dictations at high shorthand speeds, and efficiently typing official documents in English.
• Computer Operator: Operating and maintaining computer systems, performing precise data entry tasks, and managing digital information effectively, with a required minimum typing speed.
• Junior Clerk: Assisting with general office administration, maintaining organized records, and performing various clerical duties, demonstrating proficiency in computer operations.

Required Skills

• Strong foundational computer literacy and proficiency in essential computer operations.
• For Stenographer roles: Demonstrated high proficiency in shorthand with a speed of 120 words per minute and English typing at 35 words per minute.
• For Computer Operator roles: A typing speed of 30 words per minute.
• For Inspector positions: Excellent physical fitness, adherence to specific height and chest measurement criteria, and the ability to pass demanding physical endurance tests (running/walking).
• Effective communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) is generally required for most advertised positions.
• Candidates for Computer Operator roles must possess a Diploma in Information Technology (D.I.T) in addition to their degree.
• Junior Clerk applicants are required to have completed a 06-month computer course from a recognized institution.
• Specific physical standards, including minimum height and chest measurements, are mandatory for both male and female candidates applying for Narcotics Inspector and Assistant Narcotics Control Inspector positions.
