Key Responsibilities

  • Successfully complete the demanding 38th Technical Cadet Course curriculum and training.
  • Undertake technical education at the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) across various engineering disciplines.
  • Adhere to the high standards of discipline, leadership, and integrity expected of a future commissioned officer in the Pakistan Army.
  • Prepare for active service in critical engineering corps such as Civil, Electrical, Software, Information Security, Mechanical, Computer Systems, Mechatronics, and Aeronautical Engineering.

Qualifications

  • Age: Candidates must be between 17 and 22 years old. A three-month age relaxation is available for both upper and lower age limits.
  • Gender: Only male candidates are eligible to apply.
  • Marital Status: Applicants must be unmarried.
  • Nationality: Only Pakistani Nationals are eligible. Dual nationals selected for the course will be required to surrender all other nationalities.
  • Physical Standards: Minimum height of 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm). Weight must be as per Body Mass Index (BMI) standards.
  • Education: Must have qualified FSc. (Pre-Engineering) with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Computer Studies/Computer Sciences, achieving a minimum of 65% marks. Alternatively, candidates with 'O' levels passed in five subjects and 'A' levels passed in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Computer Studies/Computer Sciences with grades A-C are also eligible.
