Qualifications

Candidates must possess a valid PMDC/PMC registration and meet the specific educational and experience criteria outlined below:

  • For Assistant Professor of Paediatric Dentistry (BS-18): A BDS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC, coupled with an FCPS, MS, MDS, Diploma, American Board certification, PhD, or a two-year MSc in Paediatric Dentistry or an equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC. A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience as a Demonstrator in a PMDC/PMC recognized institution, acquired after obtaining the prescribed qualification, is mandatory.
  • For Assistant Professor of Medicine (BS-18): An MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC, along with an FCPS, MS, MRCP, FRCS, MD, or a Diploma of the American Board in the relevant specialty. A minimum of 3 years of practical experience after post-graduation in a recognized institution, acquired after obtaining the prescribed qualification, is required.

Age limit is 25 to 45 years, with a 5-year age relaxation for male candidates and 8 years for female candidates.
