The Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department is inviting applications for a wide range of contract positions within its Development Project, "Revamping of Bansra Gali Zoological Garden, Murree," and for its Research Center. These roles, based primarily in Murree, seek dedicated professionals to contribute to wildlife conservation and departmental initiatives across Punjab. Successful candidates will play a crucial role in managing and supporting the department's mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management and Administration: Oversee project operations, manage human resources, handle financial planning, and ensure efficient administrative functions for various managerial and assistant managerial roles.
  • Technical and Specialized Services: Conduct essential research, perform data analysis, provide veterinary care, manage electrical systems, and carry out specialized tasks as biodiversity specialists, geneticists, ecologists, IT support, electricians, and lab technicians.
  • Operational Support: Provide critical daily support services, including animal keeping, driving, welding, office assistance, gardening, and security, ensuring smooth departmental operations.

Required Skills

  • Proven management and administrative capabilities, especially in public sector or project environments.
  • Specific technical expertise relevant to the chosen field, such as veterinary science, genetics, environmental science, information technology, or electrical engineering.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, project-based setting.

Qualifications

  • Educational qualifications vary by position, ranging from Middle school certificate to Master’s, Bachelor’s, DVM, and PhD degrees in relevant disciplines.
  • Candidates are required to have a minimum of 1 to 5 years of professional experience pertinent to the applied role.
  • Both male and female applicants meeting the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply.
  • Ages between 25 and 40 years are preferred.
