Account Officer (PPS-6) at National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP)

The National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP), operating under the Ministry of Defence, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Account Officer for its innovative GreenAI project. This contract-based position, located in Rawalpindi/Islamabad, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-tech ICT and AI initiatives focused on advancing precision agriculture systems through dual-use aerospace technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate financial accounts and comprehensive bookkeeping records for the GreenAI project.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies for all transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial statements, and various financial reports.
• Handle payroll processing and expense management related to project activities.
• Provide support for internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is readily available.

• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills for financial data interpretation and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree (BBA/BS) in Accounts or Finance is essential.
• Candidates holding an MBA or M.Com degree will be given preference.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience in accounts handling and bookkeeping is required.
• Prior experience in managing finances for public sector projects is highly advantageous.
