General Banking Officer & Processing Officer (OG-III) - National Bank of Pakistan

The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), a leading financial institution, is seeking highly motivated and career-oriented individuals for contractual positions as General Banking Officer (OG-III) and Processing Officer (OG-III). Key Responsibilities

• General Banking Officer (OG-III): Manage daily front and back-office banking operations, process customer transactions, handle account opening and maintenance, facilitate remittances and clearing operations, manage ATM cash settlements, oversee term deposits, and ensure strict compliance with internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory mandates.
• Processing Officer (OG-III): Execute sales processing, manage loan documentation, maintain and update databases, prepare MIS reports, monitor portfolio performance, ensure compliance with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) regulations, conduct product reviews, prepare comprehensive reports, and support branch and line management in achieving business targets.

Required Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Excellent customer service orientation with a proactive approach.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• For Processing Officer roles, expertise in data management, analytical skills, and MIS reporting is highly desirable.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a minimum Graduation or an equivalent qualification from a local or international university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). For the Processing Officer position, a Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution will be given preference. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, while candidates with at least one year of relevant banking experience will be preferred. The maximum age limit for General Banking Officer is 27 years, and for Processing Officer, it is 26 years, as of the application closing date.
