This critical leadership position is offered on a contract basis, initially for two years with potential for extension. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the internal audit department, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance processes.
• Identify potential areas of financial and operational risk and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, statutory obligations, and best practices in financial reporting and compliance.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports to senior management and the board, highlighting findings and proposed corrective actions.

Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in an Auditor, Finance, Compliance, or Risk Management function. The ideal candidate will be between 40 to 50 years of age.
