Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) is currently seeking talented and dedicated individuals for various officer-grade positions, including Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) / Junior Engineer, Assistant Managers, and Revenue Officer. These contract-based roles, initially for one year with potential for extension based on performance, offer an excellent opportunity to contribute to the power distribution sector in Peshawar and across Pakistan. Key Responsibilities (SDO / Junior Engineer)

• Manage and maintain the electricity distribution network within assigned operational areas.
• Ensure a smooth and reliable power supply, overseeing timely repairs and proper functioning of electrical systems.
• Supervise technical staff and monitor routine maintenance activities.
• Address and resolve power outages promptly and efficiently.
• Implement new electrical projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• Conduct inspections of transformers, transmission lines, and meters to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and liaise effectively with senior engineers and management.
• Contribute actively to improving electricity infrastructure and enhancing customer satisfaction within PESCO's service regions.

Qualifications

Applicants for the SDO / Junior Engineer position must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with a 1st Division or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is mandatory. For other advertised positions, a Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience is compulsory for all advertised job opportunities.
• Age: Candidates must be between 21 and 33 years of age.
• Domicile: Applicants from Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), FATA, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) are eligible to apply.
