Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the formulation of national urban strategies and guidelines for climate resilience.

  • Develop and implement national guidelines for spatial planning, integrating climate change and disaster risk considerations.
  • Oversee administrative and financial management for assigned projects within the department.
  • Provide specialized technical expertise in areas such as GIS, IT, and urban planning, as per the role requirements.
  • Perform general office support, assistance, and other duties essential for efficient departmental operations.

  • Proficiency in urban planning principles, GIS applications, and information technology.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess educational qualifications ranging from Middle to Master's or Bachelor's degrees in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution. A minimum of 1 to 10 years of professional experience, varying by the specific position, is required. Applicants should be between 18 to 50 years of age. Available positions include Project Director (PPS-10), Deputy Directors (Urban Planning, GIS, Admin & Finance - PPS-8), Assistant Director (IT - PPS-7), Office Assistant (PPS-6), Naib Qasid (PPS-2), and Internees.
