Forest Guard (BPS-08) - Lower Dir Forest Division, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forest Department is seeking dedicated and physically fit individuals for the position of Forest Guard (BPS-08) within the Lower Dir Forest Division. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and protect forest areas from illegal activities, encroachment, and unauthorized resource extraction.

• Conduct regular patrols and surveillance to ensure the safety, health, and ecological balance of assigned forest jurisdictions.

• Excellent physical fitness and endurance, suitable for demanding outdoor work and varied terrain.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of forestry practices, environmental conservation, and local wildlife.

• Strong observational capabilities and the capacity for accurate reporting of field conditions and incidents.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an Intermediate (FA/FSc or equivalent) qualification from a recognized educational board.
• Applicants must be within the age range of 18 to 25 years on the application closing date.
• Candidates must meet specific physical standards, including a minimum height of 5 feet 6 inches.
• A chest measurement between 32 to 34 inches is also required.
• Applicants must hold a valid domicile certificate for Lower Dir.
