The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) is actively recruiting for the crucial role of Police Communication Officer within its Smart City Projects. This contract-based position offers a significant opportunity to contribute to public safety across various districts in Punjab, utilizing advanced communication systems to ensure effective emergency response and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively handle and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from the public.
  • Dispatch appropriate police units and coordinate with field officers during incidents.
  • Accurately document all incidents, communications, and responses within designated systems.
  • Operate and monitor various communication equipment, including radio and telephone systems.
  • Provide critical information and support to field personnel to ensure public safety and law enforcement operations run smoothly.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Urdu and English languages, both written and verbal.
  • Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Fundamental computer literacy and familiarity with relevant software applications.
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient under pressure in high-stress situations.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities for rapid decision-making.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 16 years of education, equivalent to a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT-related fields such as BCS, BBA-IT, BS Telecom, MBA-IT, MCS, or MSc IT.
  • Applicants should possess 1 to 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Age requirement: 21 to 25 years for male candidates and 21 to 28 years for female candidates as of the application deadline.
