Sergeant Driver (BS-07) - Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority (PERA)

The Punjab Enforcement & Regulatory Authority (PERA), established under the Punjab Enforcement & Regulation Act, 2024, is actively seeking qualified, dynamic, and motivated individuals for 500 Sergeant Driver (BS-07) positions. These roles are essential for enhancing regulatory enforcement across Punjab. Successful candidates will contribute to maintaining law and order while ensuring compliance with special laws throughout various districts of the province.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate official vehicles safely and efficiently across Punjab, adhering to all traffic laws and organizational policies.
• Maintain vehicle logbooks and ensure routine checks and maintenance are performed to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
• Assist in the enforcement of special laws and regulatory measures as directed by senior officers.
• Demonstrate high levels of discipline, professionalism, and integrity while on duty.
• Ensure the security and safety of passengers and cargo during transportation.

Qualifications

• Education: Intermediate (12 years of education) from a recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
• Driving License: Must possess a valid driving license for Motorcar/Jeep or LTV (Light Transport Vehicle).
• Domicile: Applicants must hold a Punjab domicile.
• Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 26 years of age.
• Physical Standards (Male): Height 173 cm, BMI 27 or below, Chest 32” (non-expanded) to 34” (expanded with minimum 2 inches expansion), One-mile running in 7 minutes.
• Physical Standards (Female): Height 162 cm, BMI 27 or below, One-mile running in 11 minutes.
• Eyesight: 6/6 with glasses; color blindness renders a candidate ineligible.
